Imagine, It’s Easy if You Try…

ImageImagine…. It’s Easy If You Try

Imagine a world full of healthy, vibrant, and loving people who care as much for others as they do for themselves because their focus is outward instead of inward. This is attributed to such abundant health that love emanates from every pore. These are people that are no longer fighting inner battles due to disease, poor health, obesity, lack of energy, etc., and have found true joy in helping others.

If the days of hippie communes and free love come to mind… then modernize that thought and you’d have the paradise envisioned here.

A Shangri-La that includes people determined to avoid the diseases so prevalent in every corner of America, because they are armed with data that shows one in two people have heart disease, and one in three are fighting some kind of cancer.

The road heavily traveled, due to the lack of knowledge and/or inspiration, by the majority of American’s deprived of the life giving force of real food, have replaced it with gunk that makes them sick. And it is not only adults – children are getting sicker day by day.

It is possible to imagine this ‘heaven’ on earth because it is right within our reach. And individually, as well as collectively, we can change this sick world – and we can help those who are sick by teaching them of a simple change in diet.

Now this may sound like a huge ‘pipe-dream’ – but it isn’t as far-fetched as one may think.  There are physicians and experts in our country who have proven, beyond a doubt, that this kind of world is possible.

And we have the goods and support to make it happen.

When Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn, Jr., author of Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease, gave up sawing open the chests of his heart patients at the Cleveland Clinic, it was because he knew there was a better way. Love him and honor him, because he gave us proof that those surgeries were unnecessary after he conducted a 20-year groundbreaking study – proving that heart disease is an epidemic that can be prevented and reversed by what we put in our mouth.

What’s more, his study included people who were too far-gone for surgery or any other treatment for that matter. These were patients that had been given their death sentences and told they should prepare to die. Within months after they met with Dr. Essy, their cholesterol levels and severe heart disease symptoms began to improve. Just by following his whole food plant-based diet plan. He saved those patients without a single scalpel.

Dr. Esselstyn stated in a recent interview:

Q:        How are you unique from other physicians in regard to heart disease?

A:        I do not consider myself unique.  What inspires me is the knowledge, education, and research of plant-based nutrition, which has the capacity to vanquish cardiovascular disease and a host of many other chronic diseases. (1)

And since his discovery, hundreds of thousands have eliminated heart disease by changing their diet, never having to undergo painful surgery. It is the most deadly disease known to man and the number one killer in America. And it can be avoided and even cured. Imagine.

And cancer? Well – this disease has to be one of the most dreaded of all time.  Not only is it a non-refundable ticket to the morgue, the barbaric treatment offered is a painful and debilitating “cure” called chemotherapy. A treatment that any sensible doctor would never undergo, including Dr. Ralph Moss, the author of Questioning Chemotherapy.

But there is a solution to cancer treatment and prevention as well… think, The China Study – a title by the wonderful T. Colin Campbell, Ph.D. – where in his lab at Cornell University, he literally turned cancer on and off like a light switch, with a single protein (casein).  He went on to prove that cancer is the root of bad diet, as well as a host of other diseases.

In a recent interview with T. Colin Campbell,Ph.D.:

Q:        In your opinion, how much does diet affect cancer?

A:        With regard to prevention, estimates from several serious professional sources suggest that upwards of 80-90% of cancers could be prevented by a proper diet. I agree. Experimentally, considerable evidence shows that  several cancers can be reversed by nutritional means that are equivalent  to a whole food plant-based diet. (2)

Imagine a world free of cancer – and free of the burden of the hundreds of thousands of dollars required for the treatments the medical industry offers. Treatments that have no guarantee of survival, but offer plenty of torture with a side of toxic annihilation that can take decades to flush from the body.

It’s no wonder our country’s war on cancer is, and has been, a major FAIL.

And diabetes shouldn’t go without mention. It is the fastest growing disease our country has faced in decades.  Sadly, children are not strangers to the Type 2 Diabetes previously inflicting only adults. The American Diabetes Association reports that as of 2010, 25.8 million people in the U.S. have this disease, adults and children alike.

But there is good news here as well. Diabetes is one of the most easily preventable and curable diseases in America. Diet is the cause of diabetes and therefore is the cure.

It is a serious illness that can lead to heart problems, nerve damage, blindness, stroke, or kidney failure, and in extreme cases – loss of limbs and death, and should not be taken lightly.

Dr. Neal Barnard, author: Dr. Neal Barnard’s Program For Reversing Diabetes and the principal investigator on several clinical trials investigating the effects of diet on diabetes, found the answers that all diabetics should heed. Change your diet, dammit.

In a recent interview with Dr. Barnard about his research on diabetes:

Q:        In your extensive research, what have you found to be the largest contributor to Type 2 Diabetes?

A:        When we see populations that historically have followed plant-based diets   begin to incorporate more meat and dairy products in their diets, diabetes rates start to soar. It’s been that way in Japan and China and is fueling the diabetes epidemic. Fats cause insulin resistance. (3)

This news is extremely exciting when we realize that the biggest percentage of disease is related to food – and is a ‘no-brainer’ to finding health and the beautiful quality of life each human can enjoy, all by a change in diet – to be free of disease, pain, suffering, devastating expense and early death.

Sadly, at present, this is not the case. American’s are bombarded with ‘bad’ food marketing wiles in every form. The terms “natural” and “whole grain” have fooled many a consumer.

Although through education – those ploys can become extremely transparent – and set those desiring a life worth living – onto a path of no return.  Imagine that path if you will. A path filled with sustenance that gives life and sustains and nourishes the human body in every sense of the word.

But rising above the ashes of change, to a place where peace, health and love reside is not only happening now, it has advanced further than imaginable and it is alive with hope. And, although that change isn’t always disease or diet motivated, it happens, and with it comes an inner peace, an inside cleanliness, a moral recompense of enduring health, longevity and a life filled with all of life’s wonders that tickle the human spirit. Imagine.
